What We Believe
Everyone has a core belief system based on life experiences, education, interaction with others, childhood family life and teaching. Changing our lives for the better comes from changing our thinking based on what the Word of God says. (Romans 12:1-2)

We hope this guide informs you on our core beliefs, inspires you to discover more in God's Word, and acts as a guide as you share the Gospel with those around you.
God
God exists and the Bible is His Word. The Bible is God’s Word written for us. It was written by human authors under the
supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the ultimate authority in guiding our beliefs and
our behavior.
Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin. He is co-equal with the Father. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross.
References: Isaiah 9:6; Romans 1:3-4; Titus 2:13
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He constantly reminds us of our righteousness. He comforts, guides, empowers, teaches us and helps us pray more effectively.
References: John 14:16; John 16:13; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:26
Salvation
Salvation is a free gift that must be accepted.

Baptism of the Spirit
Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation, however being baptised in the Spirit is a separate act as demonstrated by Jesus, and later by the Disciples in Acts. Jesus said it would be better for Him to go so that Holy Spirit could come to us. Living empowered by the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is God's ultimate plan for mankind.

Reference: Acts 1:4; John 16:7-11
Water Baptism
Water baptism is an outward testimony of an inward spiritual change.

References: Hebrews 6:2; Matthew 3:16-17; Acts 8:38-40
Tongues
The initial evidence of being Spirit-filled is speaking in tongues. Holy Spirit helps us pray more effectively through our prayer language. Tongues and interpretation is a gift and one of many ways that God speaks to us.

Human Beings
People are made in the image and likeness of God. They didn’t evolve from a lower life form. Every human born is marred by Adam’s sin until we are born again.

Is God In Control?
God created Adam and Eve and gave them dominion over the earth. When Adam and Eve doubted God they gave dominion to Satan and he became the ruler and “god” of the world’s system. Therefore, everything happening on earth is not “God’s will”. Because man was given dominion, God will not override man’s authority. Much of what is happening is the work of a fallen world and Satan that is allowed by man. But as Christians we now have authority over the devil.
